The cost of removing a tree stump varies depending on several variables including: location of the stump, city you live in, company you hire, and the size of the stump.

1. Location of the Stump. If the stump is in an inconvenient location, it may cost more to get it removed. Most stump removal companies use special tools to remove the stump.
